More than the deep uncertainties about participating in the famous Dakar Rally, Christophe challenges anyone with a dream to make it come true.

Dream Racer follows Christophe’s progress in the 7 months leading up to the 2010 Dakar. From his tireless efforts to find the money to take part in the race, to his arduous training program in the dunes and forests around Port Stephens, the film offers a rare insight into what it really means to give everything in pursuit of your dream.

Even when all reasonable signs point to the contrary, Christophe continues to believe in his dream. Delusion? Pure Madness? Admirable positivity? His is an exceptional brand of optimism.

But will it be enough? Will Christophe even make it to Buenos Aires and the start of the 2010 Dakar? If he does, will he have what it takes to finish?
