Enter THE SARDEGNA RALLY with TEAM KTM Cyril DESPRES

The Sardegna Rally Race (27 May – 1 June) is the third round of the FIM rally-raid world championships and the perfect event for ‘first timers’ to make their rally debut. The cheapest of all the FIM rounds to enter and requiring only a lightly modified enduro bike to be competitive, the event has inspired three times Dakar winner Cyril Despres to put together a package allowing 10 amateur riders to race alongside him on one of his favourite rallies.

The work of Gabriel Ruiz-Tagle by Chiledeportes began. On Monday he met for more than two hours with the directors of ASO, the company that organises the Dakar.

The French idea was to reach an agreement, at least in words, to ensure the third edition of the race in South America, work for which they work against time at the moment - as usually next year's decision past February never happened.

So far, the ASO - organizers of the Dakar rally - which has not yet released a decision on where to take place in 2011 edition of the Dakar. This delay is due to be multiple factors, but recently a succession of events will eventually have complicated the life of Etienne Lavigne and his companions.
